JATRA was a landmark group exhibition presented by Gallery Twenty One in collaboration with the Zonta Club of Greater Dhaka on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2015. Bringing together both established and emerging Bangladeshi women artists, the exhibition explored themes of identity, resilience, memory, and transformation across diverse media. Meaning “journey,” JATRA celebrated the evolving creative voices of women and affirmed art as a powerful expression of empowerment, equality, and cultural contribution.
